Easy Pickled Tomatoes with Sour Plums

These pickled tomatoes have a light and refreshing taste.


They go well with meat dishes.

Skin Ingredients

  • 4 sour plums
  • 20g sugar
  • 200ml water
  • 150g cherry tomatoes

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, add sour plums, sugar and water. Bring to a gentle boil to dissolve the sugar over the stove. Leave aside to cool.
  2. For each cheery tomato, cut a small cross at the bottom.
  3. Put the tomatoes in a boiling pot of water for about 30 secs, then chill them in a pot of ice water. Peel off the skin.
  4. Put tomatoes and syrup in a jar and chill for at least 12 hours.
